Q2. How does your media product present particular social group?

My media product is targeted at teenagers from age 15-20 with an interest in R&B/Hip Hop music. This is a social group that both males and females are involved in and consist of black ethnicities. I represented this particular social Group with my magazine by choosing the models for my magazine wisely as they are teenagers that portraits my ideal target audience.
The model in my front cover is dressed with an adidas track suit and a black armless body warmer. This will relate to my target audience as they are very familiar to that particular way of dressing which can categorised as a social group. I directed the model on my front cover to point at the cover with a straight face while I take the shot from a low angle shot to seriousness made it seem like the pointing of hands towards the camera is pointing at and picking out a particular social group that my model can relate to. It also shows dominance and power which can present a black ethnicity social group as they like to see them self up top and in control.
All my magazine models are black and only a few props were used. This is to how that the targeted social group are not expected to have luxury instruments but still make the best with what they have. My double page spread give the information that present my targeted social group to be people that affiliated with the crimes on our streets and targets of trident.
